MOMentum was born from the hearts of two mothers who experienced firsthand the complexity, chaos, joy, and stickiness of becoming a mom. Somewhere between the endless questions, and enormous cups of coffee, we kept coming back to the same question: why are so many of us feeling like we are drowning?

Inspired by our own journeys, we created MOMentum to be the village we wished existed when we needed it most. As mothers and advocates for women's health, we saw how often society celebrates the baby while overlooking the person who brought that baby into the world. It was time we created a foundation to undo the short comings of our society and culture where mothers are minimized, made invisible, or simply expected to endured in silence.

MOMentum was created to change this narrative. We are building a foundation of connection and empowerment for mothers to be seen at every stage of their journey. Because motherhood isn't just about raising a child, it's about the birth of a mother, too. It’s matrescence.
